Hawthorn MHNE program graduate Laura Kopec has created a thriving practice for herself after graduating in 2013. Although what appeared to be successes did not always work out, Laura’s education with Hawthorn University and the MHNE program, combined with her passion and resiliency, allowed her to find confidence and put herself out there as an educator and expert in her field.

Laura will share her long and sometimes challenging journey to find herself professionally.

Laura Kopec is dedicated to inspiring change and transformation in the lives of women and children everywhere. She is dedicated to the education, health and wellness of women of all walks of life.

Laura received a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education from Hawthorn University, a Master of Arts from the University of Arizona, a Doctoral Certificate in Traditional Naturopathy and a Certificate in Nutritional Counseling from Trinity School of Natural Health. She is recognized by the American Alternative Medical Association as a Board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner and by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners as a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner. Professional memberships include the National Association of Nutritional Professionals, the American Alternative Medical Association, the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, the American Holistic Health Association, the Coalition for Natural Health, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the Weston Price Foundation. Laura has been a conference presenter for the National Association of Nutritional Professionals and is a member of the National Speakers Association.

Laura runs a private consulting practice based in the North Dallas area where she sees clients by TeleMed and by phone.
