Congratulations to Lauren Cuthbertson for graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition program. Lauren also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel University. Her introduction to the power of holistic health followed years of battling poor digestion, headaches, and constant bouts of strep and sinus infections, with no answers other than continuous prescriptions of antibiotics. She discovered that eliminating gluten made a big difference in her health and became curious as to what other foods could negatively (or positively) impact her body. She researched how healing (and poisonous) food can be. Lauren’s goal was to improve autism symptoms in the children she provided therapy for. In order to learn more, Lauren enrolled at Hawthorn University. Her goal is to improve the health of others with the healing power of food. Her thesis is entitled Decreasing the risk of autism spectrum disorder through the health of the gut microbiome. Keep up the good work, Lauren!
