Congratulations to Danielle Savard for graduating Magna cum Laude from the Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education program. Danielle has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a master’s degree in Public Administration. She learned to cook at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Quebec in Montreal and worked as a cook early in her career. When she came to the United States, she worked as a meeting planner for non-profit organizations, and as an educational program manager at African Virtual University. She owned Le Chic Picnic, LLC, a mobile kitchen, that offered gluten-free delight.
She co-owns Le Bleu Ridge Bed and Breakfast, located in Virginia, which features organic beds and bedding, and delicious and nutritious whole food breakfasts. Danielle’s goal is to provide clients with educational tools and recipes to help reverse type 2, and gestational diabetes. Her thesis is entitled How to Self-Care with Diabetes. Keep up the great work, Danielle!
